In your layer palette, click on Layer 3 and drag it in the layer palette BELOW layer 1.Drag copy of layer 3 BELOW copy of layer 1, and copy of copy of layer three below copy of copy of layer one.
See the little eyeglasses to the right of the layers in the layer palette? Close off all but the first two layers, layer 1 and layer three, you will only see the two layers. Highlight layer 3 but no x on that layer or layer 1. Go to layers, merge and merge VISIBLE.
Don't forget to save your work! Close off the merged image in the layer palette and open copy of layer 3 and copy of layer 1 and merge them visible as well. Then close that merged layer and open copy of copy of layer 3 and copy of copy of layer 1 and merge those layers.
